Victoria MacPhail supports TruNorth Naturals with financial planning, oversight, and strategic decision-making as the company continues to grow its operations and research initiatives.

With a background spanning public accounting, investor relations, and early-stage startups, Victoria brings a practical and grounded approach to financial leadership. She began her career at Deloitte in Calgary, working with private and public companies on audit, financial controls, and risk management, and later held finance and advisory roles supporting several publicly traded organizations in both Canada and the US.

Victoria previously served as VP of Finance at Kapoose Creek Bio, a fungal-based biotech company focused on therapeutic development. There, she supported budgeting, cash-flow planning, and funding within a science-driven, innovation-focused environment.

Victoria has also worked closely with mission-driven and community-based organizations. As Finance Manager for the Native Council of Prince Edward Island, she supported financial operations across more than 30 funding agreements, helping steward resources for social programs serving off-reserve Indigenous communities. She has also volunteered as Assistant Treasurer for the Psychedelic Association of Canada, supporting financial oversight for a national nonprofit focused on mental health education.

Outside of her professional work, Victoria lives in rural Prince Edward Island in a tiny home, where she is in the process of taking over her family’s blueberry farming operations. She enjoys simple living and staying connected to the land.
